Poland has brought down several drones in the airspace with the support of military aircraft from its allies in NATO, the first time that a member of the Western Military Alliance has been known to fired bullets during the Russian war in Ukraine. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced that the country is “the closest we have been to open the conflict since World War II.”

The ministers discussed more sanctions and other economic measures that could be imposed on Russia, according to readings. But the statement provided some details about what these measures could require.
The G7 group of Canada, the United States, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the United Kingdom consists of the European Union as a “inappropriate member”.
