The team manager, Graim Ludon, says that the new Cadillac F1 team “progress” with “a number of drivers” as they weigh the squad for the 2026 season for the first time.

Cadillac joins the network as a team next season, where the project was launched in partnership with American Automobiles, General Motors and Twg Global, who also have interests in mathematical entities including Chelsea and Los Angeles Lakers.

The addition of two new seats to the F1 network next year, according to Lowdon, has led to Cadillac through “a long list of very good drivers who have been keen” since their entry into March.

After losing their places on the network at the end of last season, it is believed that the multi -race winners Sergio Perez and Valtere Potas are among the prominent competitors, while the former Saber driver was linked to Chu Guanio and Aston Martin Felipe Felipe Felipech.

In an exclusive interview with Sky Sports News From their base in the United Kingdom in Silverston before the British Grand Prix race this week with the countdown to their race before marriage, Ludon said: “The good thing is that we know many drivers there.

“Each of the younger men who were wandering through Formula 2 and also the most firm drivers who have a lot of experience in Formula 1. We talk to these people all the time and try to spend time in the ring as well.

“The main focus so far was the construction of the car. I think if we got to Melbourne and there is no car to drive the driver, no one will be thankful at all.

“But this was said, we are presenting discussions with a number of drivers.

“We will not announce anything in Silverston this way. But I say, I watch this space.”

Was the Postas Cadillac any meaning?

Potas, who is currently working in the role of a third driver in Mercedes after he lost his seat in the Sauber race at the end of last season, caused a stir on social media last week when he posted a video of himself next to the Cadillac Road and the question arises: “Do we love this seat?”

But asked if there was any wider importance, Ludon said: “I saw this post – well, it appears that he bought Cadillac!

“But with the choice of drivers, there is a real mix of skills, and we are very lucky at the moment. We are out of sync with other teams at the present time, we have a little time and we can spend that time to make sure that when we announce the driver’s assortment, this will be the right.

“We hope that the fans will be enthusiastic, and we hope it will be enthusiastic about the fact that there is a new team on the network that they can follow.”

In the countdown to the first weekend of the race in Melbourne from March 6 to 8, Ludon said: “It is a number on the wall of each of our office. We have the countdown hour, which shows time between now and free practice in Melbourne, so everyone fully realizes the schedule.

“We are on the goal.

“We were on the wind tunnel with a 26 -time car for some time.”

“It is very difficult. It’s a very competitive, it’s really really,” Ludon, who previously occupied an administrative role in F1 in the former Manor/Marussia team in 2010-2015.

“There is a change in the list, so we have not yet seen how the other teams will adapt to that, but there is no new team that comes to Formula 1 has any right, in fact, anywhere other than the back of the network.
