A mill designed firmly firmly bitterly against his bitter Crystal Palace competitors, but it is still sufficient to secure a place in the next round of the CARABAO Cup, where the Alex Neil team surrendered to a palace.
Chris Richards’s effort was placed in the path of victory, before Ryan Leonard rose to the house at a time from an angle of Milawal to make him 1-1 and forced a tie on the shooting.
This gave visitors an opportunity to end a round without a victory against Palace, which extends to 1986, but the Eagles goalkeeper Walter Benitez sent the Premier League team to the fourth round of the Carabau Cup with two wonderful memorization.
The palace is applied to the pens after late terror
The game started with a palace in full control. Yermy Pino dictates, signature of Villarreal, the play from the left side and hit the Millwall defense throughout the first half. The plain shot found the pavilion of the President of Daniel Monoz, who saw his document efforts saved by Stephen Binda early.
Visitors, though, started to grow to the game. Josh Coporn and Camel Nigley are close to registering on both sides of the first half, but both of them dissipate the golden opportunities to give Milwal the initiative.
The penetration came in the end when Richards launched the opening match from the angle of palace shortly after. The competition looked complete with the wind that was completely removed from Milwal sails.
But visitors – from nothing – were in the end, and they rewarded their efforts at an additional time when Leonard was heading to the house from an angle.
Jean-Vhilippe Mateta was supposed to win it in a depth of the time of stopping, but he managed to cut his effort widely from the void, as the tie went to the sanctions.
A full -time whistle was received with a roar from the end of the packed – but the palace remained an author and was perfect because it turned all their four efforts from the place.
Milwal, though, failed to carry their nerves. Captain Treistan saved Karama and Adandomo Imako their sanctions, as a new Benitez’s signing of the palace fans remained and made sure that the fabricated rights remain in Silhirst Park.
Glasner: Esse did not take his chance
Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner:
on Roman Isa Performance: “I don’t want to talk about one player, but if you are someone at the end of the first half, you are not happy with his performance.
“It is simple, football is not very difficult. When you get a chance, you have to do and show that you can help the team win the game.
“If I feel that a player can help the team win a game, he gets several minutes. If you feel a feeling that the player does not help the team win the game, he will not get several minutes.
“He is a nice man, I love him as a person. But I don’t receive salaries to be a nice person, I get their salaries to win the matches. It is up to the player to improve him.
“We have lost a lot of balls and we lost a lot of eruptions. We were long on the ball and took some wrong decisions. We missed some opportunities. Thus the game was how it was.”
Neil: It is frustrated not to pass
Milwal boss Alex Neil:
“I was proud of performance in general. We were very good and after a negative start, we grow more and more confident.
“We made eight changes, we lost a goalkeeper in the Max Croccombe, and we lost Dan Kelly after 20 minutes of the game, so putting this level of performance was great.
“The frustrated thing for us is that we were not able to pass. It was a really strong palace team and the balance of the game you really was happy.
“We continue, we do not give up and we deserve the goal of taking it to the sanctions.”
