Bruno Fernandez is only interested in the success of Manchester United this season

Captain Manchester United brono Fernandez urged the focus on the team instead, although it is one of the few players who appear with the catastrophic campaign for the last season.

United has endured its worst flight since 1974, as it ended the Premier League in the fifteenth place.

However, Fernandez scored 19 goals in all competitions and won the nomination of the PFA player for the year alongside Mohamed Salah, Alexis McAl Alesster, Alexander Issak, Indian Rice and Cole Palmer.

Speaking to Espn Brasil, Portugal said it is preferable to be replaced by collective success.

“I hope you hear less about Bruno this year, but much about United,” said Fernandez.

“This is my main goal because my name is spoken, let’s say mysteriously alone, does not fill me with pride or anything.

“United has spoken, being positive, this is the most important thing and this is what I want for this season.

“If Bruno must score fewer goals, provide less passes or do another type of providing what is necessary for games, I will be very happy.”

While last season was one forgetting, there is cautious optimism about Old Trafford this summer. The expatriates from Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko have strengthened confidence before the opening match in the Premier League on Sunday against Arsenal.

Fernandez shares this optimism, but after more than five years in the club, he knows that United fans have seen a lot of wrong dawn.

“Every year I stayed here, every time the season begins, I see this (positivity),” he said.

“I think it can be the time of change, as we can do something better.

“Maybe my first season was very good, as we really thought we could go further and do better things. We had a very good season with Erik (Ten Hag) in its first season, then in the second season it was not good.

“It is clear that people have now joined the club, not only players, but also employees and management, who have a different vision.

“I hope all of these changes and all we have done can return the club to the place where it really deserves to be.”

A lot of pre-season uproar focuses on the trio of the new attack from Cunha, MBEUMO and Sesko, where Robin Amorim is looking to fix a team scored only 44 goals in the league in the last period-the fifth of work in the department.

However, Fernandez insists that the improvement should come from the entire team, not just the attackers.

“We have more goals in the team because we know that we have not scored enough goals last year,” said Fernandez.

“But we also have to know that we must defend better so that we do not suffer from the largest number of goals that we recognized last year.

“And when I say the defense better, this is not defenders, but as a team.

“To know how to suffer, know how to defend, and know the necessary moments to make everyone behind the ball, to make everyone restore, to make everyone interact quickly when we lose it.”
