British police said on Thursday that four people were wounded after driving a car on members of the public and stabbed a man outside a synagogue in northern Manchester, England.

In a series of jobs on X, the Greater Manchester Police said they had been called to the Hebrew Hitton Park Church in Kromsal shortly after 9:30 am local time by a member of the public. The caller said that he witnessed a car that was driving towards the members of the public and that he had stabbed a man.

Police said that minutes later, the shots were launched by the officers.

“A man has been shot, and he is believed to be the perpetrator,” the service added.

Police said four people were treated due to injuries caused by car wounds and stabbing, although the severity of the injuries was not immediately clear.

Andy Bornham, the mayor of the Greater Manchester region, told the BBC that “the immediate danger appears to have ended.”

Starmer to return to the United Kingdom

British Prime Minister Kiir Starmer thanked, in Copenhagen, for a summit, in a post on social media, the first respondents and said that his ideas were with the victims and their loved ones.

“I felt dismay from the attack in a synagogue in Kromsal,” said Starmer. “The fact that this has happened on Kippur, the most sacred day in the Jewish calendar, makes it more terrifying.”

Starmer returns from the summit to chair the government of the government’s emergency committee, Cobra.

Dave Rich from the Community Security Fund, a charitable institution that monitors anti -Semitism in the United Kingdom, said that Kibor’s day is the holiest day in the Jewish year. “It is a very official day and temples throughout the country will be full throughout the day,” he said.

He said that there is a “always important security operation” between the police and confidence through the Jewish community in all major Jewish festivals.

Manchester has been a site for the bloodiest attack for Britain in recent years, which is the 2017 suicide bombing at Ariana Grande’s concert that killed 22 people.
