British Egyptian activist Alaa Abdel Fah was issued after the presidential pardon

The National Council for Human Rights in Egypt, a state -funded body, welcomed the decision, saying that it indicates the increasing focus on rapid justice.

The former blogger was detained before the Arab Spring uprising, which toppled the leader of Egypt, Hosni Mubarak, in 2011 and during the unrest that followed.

But Abdel -Fateh’s criticism of Al -Kuma was the repression of the dissidents after Sisi’s leader at the time assumed the power that fell to him the longest prison periods to a large extent.

In 2014, Abdel -Fateh was sentenced to 15 years in prison for protest without permission, after that to five years.
