Antonio Dunton-El Jr. was determined, but Musa proved to be a level above his opponent. 20-year-old Zaken Moses didn’t get a knockout, but he did some solid work in the ring and, more importantly, added another win to his record.

During his amateur days, Zaken Moses caught the attention of fight fans when he defeated Cormel Moton. Shortly after his big win at the amateur level, Moses turned professional and signed with Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing.

In the opening round of his fifth professional fight, southpaw Zaken Moses was on his back foot while his opponent, Dunton-El Jr., aggressively lunged forward trying to land a right arm. Musa kept his composure and proceeded to land a sharp right hook.

Early in the second round, Moses connected with a right hook, and Dunton-El Jr. responded by landing a three-man double combo. Late in the second round, Musa landed a powerful straight shot with his left hand.

Musa proceeded to take over in the third round as he was able to land sharp combinations on multiple occasions. In the fourth round, Dunton Jr. forced Moses to the ropes and proceeded to polish his body.

During the second half of the fourth period, Moses walked Donton L. Jr. as he was constantly landing right hooks. In the fifth and sixth rounds, Musa continued to show his poise while executing his attack efficiently.

At the conclusion of the 6-round super featherweight contest, all three judges scored the bout 60-54 in favor of Newark, New Jersey native Zaken “Zaybub” Moses. With the victory, Musa raised his score to (5-0, 3 KO).
