Chelsea believe they could sign Sporting Lisbon player Konrad Harder, according to a new report.
The 19-year-old striker, who has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge via TBR Football reporter Graeme Bailey, is considered the next Victor Gyukiris. The Sweden international is set to leave the club in the summer After his exceptional form in Portugal – and it is believed that the teenager will take his place as the main focal point in scoring goals.
In the limited minutes he played, Harder caught a lot of attention, scoring nine goals and providing six assists in just 1,300 minutes. His performances have been so good that some clubs have begun to shift their attention from Geukeris to the younger Dane.

At 22, Harder is seven years younger than the former Coventry City player, making him a more attractive option for teams focused on signing young talent with long-term potential. A Chelsea thing for sure.
The club rarely sign players over the age of 25, with a heavy burden on buying the best young talent around the world, and have been closely monitoring Harder’s development at Sporting.

In fact, according to transfer expert Billy, Chelsea are “backing themselves” to eventually sign the Dane. This is because they have been hot in his way longer than other interested suitors.
“They like Conrad Harder very much.” He told the Chelsea Chronicle. “He’s a great player, and obviously he signed for Sporting as a replacement for Victor Gyukiris. He’s a big talent, he really is, and we’ve seen Chelsea monitoring those players.
“(For example) Samu (Agyehwa), who they were looking at, way before everyone else. Chelsea are backing themselves here, so keep an eye on Harder. He is a massive talent, and he fits into what Chelsea want to do.”
