Everything you need to know about the Goblin Lair in Blue Protocol Star Resonance

Before you jump into your first dungeon, there are a few things to keep in mind. To gain access, you will need to visit the “Unit X” research facility. There are several entrances, and the entrance you are looking for is the second one from the left side.
As you approach, you’ll get a prompt for each dungeon, and standing near the door will also reveal a hologram of the boss inside. While choosing a dungeon, you will have three options:
Let’s learn more about each difficulty level.
Note: If you go alone, the game will provide five bots to fill the other roles.
Regular Goblin’s Lair dungeon in Blue Protocol Star Resonance

The Goblin Lair dungeon in Blue Protocol Star Resonance has four rooms before the boss encounter. All rooms except the last room spawn enemies that you will need to defeat to unlock the next room and move on.
Another goal of these battles is to reach the result of achieving the head to open the boss room. The ability score required to enter the dungeon is 1880, so make sure you are strong enough.
After loading into the dungeon, you will come across a console that will tell you what modifiers are active. Note that only the group leader can use the console and start the mission. Here’s everything you need to know about room meetings:
Room 1

Upon entering the first room, you’ll encounter a Goblin Mage who wields several daggers and a club. Defeating them all will grant over 100 ability investigations and open the door leading to the next room. As you move forward, the Goblin King will cast tornadoes on the entire group.
Although a tornado doesn’t cause much damage, it will slow you down. Damage the boss to stop the barrage and move to the second room of the dungeon.
Room 2

The second room in Goblin Lair is also similar to the previous room, but with new types of enemies. Instead of the Wizard, you will find Goblin Ax and Crossbow Goblins. Defeat them to get over 100 more intelligence progress and unlock the next room.
Before reaching the next room, you’ll find the boss again, but this time he’s breathing fire breath to block the tunnel, and he’ll disappear if you attack him once. It is necessary to have a good amount of HP to absorb damage.
Room 3

The third room contains the highest density of monsters, including three Elites: 2x Mage, and 1x Warrior. A good strategy would be to group them to maximize the effectiveness of your AoE skills. Completing this room will also fill the head level investigation bar and unlock the boss battle.
Room 4

The last room of the dungeon remains empty as there is no need for further investigation points in the head. All you have to do is make your way to the top of the arena using the ledge on the right side of the room. However, at the higher difficulty level, things will be a little different.
Goblin Lair boss fight in Blue Protocol Star Resonance

After eliminating the grunts, it’s time to challenge the Goblin King. The battle is similar to any open world boss in Blue Protocol Star Resonance, with you and your team trying to get rid of his health. After reaching a certain health, the boss will become invulnerable for a certain period and begin using special attacks.
- Hurricane strike: This is a simple but powerful attack. The boss will direct and throw tornadoes towards all players in the group. The only way to prevent damage is to time your dash, which can be difficult to learn to time.
- Military formation: This is the second special attack that the Goblin King will use after becoming immune. Two rows of goblins will stand perpendicular to each other, and a few of them will have a shield mark on their heads. Defeating them will drop a shield, which will be useful against another special attack. After a few moments, all of the elite enemies will walk through the arena.
- Spark Storm: After the military formation, the leader will raise a storm and reduce the fighting space in the arena. At the same time, the lightning ball will target a random player, and the person holding the shield needs to intercept the ball and return it towards the boss.
- Thunder formation: The boss will create an AoE that deals stun damage to anyone inside it and explodes after a short while. The best strategy is to stay close to your boss and step away when needed.
After Spark Storm, the boss will repeat the military formation and continue reducing the size of the arena until everyone is defeated or you defeat the boss.
Normal mode rewards

After defeating the boss, the ending screen appears and gives you loot. Here are all the rewards in the Goblin’s Lair dungeon.
- Friendship points
- Lono (restricted)
- Level 40 gear
- Stone reshaping
Normal difficulty doesn’t have a legendary drop unless you encounter one God damn it In one of the rooms. Defeating him will give you extra gear at the end of the dungeon.
Difficult Goblin’s Lair dungeon in Blue Protocol Star Resonance

Goblin Lair’s hard mode remains almost the same as normal mode, including the boss fight. However, the enemies will be at a higher level, and there will be a 15-minute time limit to complete the dungeon.

You’ll also need more ability investigation points to unlock the boss room, and for this reason, the last room before the boss fight will also spawn enemies. When you enter room 4, the boss will roll boulders from the other side. Like all previous encounters, attacking the boss will make him run away, and all that’s left after that is to defeat the enemies.
Hard Mode Rewards

The rewards also remain the same as the Normal Goblin Lair, but there is a chance that you will also get level 40 legendary gear that can include a gauntlet, earrings, and a weapon.
