Bitcoin reached a record on Wednesday, as the growing industry optimism that the United States will soon agree to its first regulations for digital assets, which motivated the new enthusiasm for encrypted currencies.

The price of the distinctive symbol rose to 109,481 dollars, exceeding the highest level of 109,000 dollars in January and its gathering last month.

Washington lawmakers conclude the approval of the rules that will provide a regulatory framework for Stablecoins, a form of a digital dollar on a large scale for payments and trading in the encryption markets. The symbols aim to maintain a fixed value against the dollar, but sit outside the organized banking system.

Bitcoin price increased by more than a third last month, with fears of the impact of the aggressive tariff policy of US President Donald Trump.
