Askren posted a video on social media from his hospital bed on Wednesday. He said he did not remember anything from May 28 to July 2.

“It was like a movie,” he said, adding that he had read through his wife’s magazine to catch up with what happened to him. “She only died four times, as the transport index stopped for about 20 seconds.
“But I got a double lung transplant. I reached the other side of it. I gained a great deal of strength. Learn to use everything again. I was 147 lbs. I hadn’t reached 147 lbs 15 years ago … so this was a battle. I don’t remember most of them.”
Amy Askrin wrote last week that her husband received a dual lung transplant after she fell ill in May.

“The most influential thing for me is all the love that I felt from everyone and it was as if I was in my own funeral … the flow of love from the wrestling community was amazing,” he said. “I felt well. I’m more excited ever to return the favor.”
Askren has recently signed with Real American free The Hulk Hogan project, hoping to promote free professional wrestling.
He was the 40 -year -old NCAA Champion in the 170 -pound section in 2006 and 2007 and continued to compete for the United States of America in the 2008 Olympics. He won gold medals in the 2005 American Championship and World Championship 2009.
He fully moved to MMA, the fighting when he first appeared in Bellator in 2010. Then he competed in one championship before UFC took over.
