Robot Lawn of Yore started using a border wire to determine its whereabouts and could not go to it, and it was a problem. The border wire was making a complete, uninterrupted circle. And if anything happens to the wire, you have faced problems. These days, robots work via GPS (GPS), but GPS with a little additional in RTK lighthouse. Scott Porteus, the head of the robots for the Hoskarna broke it for me.
GPS navigation
GPS today is accurate to a few feet. It’s okay when you move in your car, or Looking for tupperware in the forestBut it is not good for things like property lines. A kinetic lighthouse also continues in the actual time with GPS satellites to provide a fixed location on the ground known to the satellites. In essence, Beacon RTK tells satellites, “I’m always here.” Meanwhile, Daraa wanders, and the lighthouse tells Zalaa that the satellites believe that it ranges from 5 feet to the north, so Qasza must take the site that GPS reads and seizes accordingly. This allows the robot torsion to get accurate to a centimeter.
GPS coverage
Another thing to consider is your general GPS coverage. If you live in the suburbs, there is a good opportunity that you will be able to find a place in your courtyard to prepare a basic station and RTK Beacon. If you live in the city, this may be difficult. Also, wherever you have prepared your mower, you may need to be within the Wi-Fi range in order to work properly. Larbo actually gets the Ethernet cable that works to a router. If you decide to go with Yarbo, this is something you need to do.
Show pieces
Robot fragmentation has a lot of difficulty with narrow tracks. The reason for this is due to these blades and their general building. For example, the SEGWAY Hasway structure is 20.5 inches with 9 inches cutting. Sunseeker, one of the smaller robots, has a 14 -inch width accompanied by 8 inches cutting. This is not leading to cutting narrow paths. Even if the miracle body hangs there, it cannot get the right angle to cut all the grass. Mostly, they are volatile back and forth, which does not do much.
Camera systems
Most of the gaps have camera systems that allow them to avoid obstacles and mobility. EUFY depends on this camera system, to the extent that he cannot work at night at all. The other stuffed enjoys the ability to stop cutting at night because discovering obstacles is much worse for clear reasons.
Scheduling
All broth discussions have scheduling capabilities, so the miracle only works when you want it. Even some broth men take the weather in mind – if it rains when the time comes, it delays the shear. It is important to remember that consistent shear times are crucial for proper operation of the button, so that the grass will not take a long time until it is dealt with.
Human control
Finally, it is important to remember that robots are exactly – robots. A person can look at a patch of grass and know exactly how to move through it. Robots, not much. It may be frustrated to see a mower that makes its way across the grass and exceeds a piece of grass.
If you do not see the Hasbalaa (just as you had to review it), it may return after it runs a course and sees the corrections you exceed, which may be frustrated as well. As a human being, you may have to do some arrangement after the robot mower, but it will be a much lower work than doing everything yourself.
My backyard is a wonderful minefield of obstacles and degrees that embody any condition that you may have in the yard. I have a trampoline that seems to have not been able to move to navigate (the supporting pipes cannot be climbed on the ground). My trees are large and have roots that come out of the ground. I have dogs who were curious about their new robots who sneak back and forth across the grass. I also have a good degree of landscape and some narrow paths that none of the pieces of the pieces do well.
My front annihilation is more clear except that none of my neighbors has no limits between the property line and the coordinator, so I had to rely on GPS and RTK a beacon of the test. I found them a sufficient minute. I programmed a broth men to cut the square of the elderly neighbor (not the colored color, and the other), which he appreciated. This is why you do not mess with technology references.
During my test time, temperatures varied significantly from 40 degrees Fahrenheit to a height of more than 90 degrees – welcome to the Middle West. We also had a few rainy storms, including one heavy rains that did not kill any of the robots, so this is plus.
After each tuner, I waited for several days until the grass would grow to test the following story, but I was not waiting for long because – again – maintenance, not cutting. I have put these buttons during their steps over the past six weeks, but I expect some long -term tests to be necessary. We plan to keep up updating this list with more gaps when releasing, or even your gaps that we have not reached this time, so be sure to check again.
