Diaz thought she would never make another film before “getting back to work.”

In promotion for “Back in Action,” Diaz said she was “perfectly happy” with her life and didn’t think she would “ever make another movie” when she received a phone call from Foxx.

The “Knight and Day” star introduced herself before announcing why she decided to direct another film.

“Hi. I’m Cameron Diaz, and I’m going to tell you why I decided to make Back in Action my first movie in 10 years,” she said. “I didn’t think I’d make another movie. I was perfectly happy, you know, just living my life and doing other things, you know? Like day to day, not movies.”
