A disturbing quarrel between Rabdo’s taxi driver and a passenger in Bangaluru Gyanagar caused public anger after a virus video of the accident on social media. The woman, who was working in a jewelry store, faced the rider to drive the rash and chose to go down in the middle of the ride. The situation escalated quickly, and its peak reached the physical assault that was captured on the camera.

The conflict intensified due to the language barrier: the woman spoke in English, while the driver, which was identified as Suman s, was only speaking Alcanada. Tensions were launched when the woman refused to pay the fare and return the helmet. According to the police, the contestant first struck, prompting Suman to take revenge by slapping her, causing her to fall to the ground.

Despite the quarrels that are revealed in a public space, the spectators did not interfere. The viral video shows both parties giving up passers -by, but no one has moved forward to dispose of the conflict.

However, a new clip of CCTV appeared that it appears that the woman hit him first, as the contestant, Suman S, claimed earlier. In the video, with a period of 9.38 am, the woman was seen hitting the man on his bike again and again. Then the man went out of his bike and continued to argue with the woman. I was seen hitting it again.

Suman was arrested, and the police case was filed against him. Fir names are accused by sections 115 (2) (attempt to cause harm), 352 (assault or criminal force), and 79 (pronounced with an obscene word in a public place) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). His car number is Ka-KJ-2897.

The driver claimed that the situation worsened after he demanded the passenger to stop the unsafe. He said: “She kept asking me to stop while I was in the middle of the road. I made it clear that someone would hit us from behind if we stop there.”

Suman also confessed to expressing a note of foreigners, and asking the woman to “return to your country.” He also claimed that she offended his abuse and grabbed his spot. He said: “I asked if I had learned and continued to be rude. I asked about the payment, but she continued to abuse me. You hit me twice with the Tifen box, when I hit her.”

Initially hesitating to file a complaint, the woman approached the Gyanagar Police Station after the video appeared and her friends encouraged her to act. In her complaint, the driver was accused of reckless leadership and physical assault, saying that he used an abusive language and assaulted it in a public place.

The accident comes at a critical time for taxi services in Karnataka. Just a few days ago, the Karnataka Supreme Court refused to remain in a direction prohibiting taxis. The Minister of Transport, Raminga Reddy, repeated that the use of two registered wheels from the private sector for commercial purposes is illegal, noting that the services lack the appropriate licenses.

Rapido, a pioneering platform that provides such services, responded by suspending bicycles and launching a new show, “Pike Parcel”, to comply with organizational guidelines.
