BCCI exchange places for the West India Islands and South Africa tests due to a terrible cause

The Cricket Control Council in India (BCCI) is said to have made significant changes in places for the upcoming test matches in India against the West Indies and South Africa in 2025. BCCI changed the locations of these matches due to air pollution fears in the national capital, Delhi.

The second test match will be held between India and the West India Islands, which was scheduled to be scheduled in the Aden Gardens in Kolkata from October 10 to 14, at the Aaron Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on the same dates.

According to what was reported, this decision was taken due to the high levels of pollution in Delhi during November. BCCI wanted to protect the health of players and employees, so they decided to convert the South Africa test match to Colkata, where conditions are expected to be better at that time of the year.

According to reports, the Board of Directors plans to issue an official announcement on this swap in the next few days. “Aaron Jaitley Delhi will now take the second test between India and the West India Islands between 10-14 October, which was originally assumed to be held in the Gardens of Aden in Kolkata,” BCCI said from The Times of India.

The source added: “Meanwhile, the first test will take place between India and South Africa from November 14 to 18. This was done to avoid players from high pollution levels at the time of the year.

Meanwhile, the council announced, the Ahmed Abad Narindra Modi Stadium will start conducting the red ball, as it will host the first test between India and the islands India from 2 to 6 October. The second test is expected in Delhi, with an official confirmation.
