Barcelona confirmed that they activated the condition of the launch of Joan Garcia and the goalkeeper will sign from their competitors through the town of Espanyol.

The 24 -year -old will join the Spanish champions for 25 million euros after he chose to leave the club that he played with over the past nine years.

Garcia is expected to be the first option under the leadership of Hansi Flick with Wojciech Szzesny, the opportunity to stay second.

If the pole falls on a new deal for one year, he leaves Marc-Ander Ten Stegen to fold the forgetfulness and is likely to continue, especially as he is looking to consolidate his place in the German division before the World Cup next summer.

I have given everything to Espanyol – Garcia

Garcia, who will sign a six -year deal with Barcelona on Friday, fought emotionally for Espanyol fans on social media this morning.

He said: “It is time to go to our separate ways. It is my role today to say goodbye to the club that was my home since I was 15 years old. During all of this time I tried to grow every day as a football player and as a person, always humbly, effort, and pride in defending the Espanyol goal.

“I gave everything I had inside to help the team, to represent this emblem with the utmost dedication and raise to the level of what it means to wear this shirt. I know that this decision will not be easy for everyone to understand. I am not asking you to do that. But I want you to know that it was a very thoughtful decision, and I do not think not only about my career, but about the best in the club, for my family.

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all coaches, teammates, employees and all people who are part of the club’s daily life.”
