Australian country to ban soy sauce containers in the form of a fish

The Australian state will prohibit soy sauce containers in the form of a fish, under a broader ban on one use plastic materials.

Iconic containers have become an essential element in many Asian restaurants and fast food around the world.

“Each container is used in the form of a fish for only seconds, yet it is still in the environment for decades or centuries if it is adhered to,” said Susan Claus earlier this month.

As of September 1, stores and businesses in southern Australia will not be able to sell or distribute already soy sauce containers that contain cover, cover, or plug.

This step depends on the previous environmental legislation of 2023 that banned the supermarket holders, plastic straw, weeds drinks, cotton buds and sweets, among other things.
