One protester was arrested by Victoria Police, but he was released and issued a summons.

The police chief refused to say whether the content of the painting was anti -Semitic, but he described all the three incidents as “inferences to anti -Semitism.”
Alex Revchene, CO-CEO of the Australian Jewish Executive Council (ECAJ), issued a statement on X and urged “all aspects of politics and all Australians to condemn these unfortunate crimes.”
“Those who chant death are not active to peace. Those who burn the homes of prayer with families at home are not seeking war.”
With reference to “violent ideology at work in our country that works on the margins of politics and social movements,” Revchene said, “It is not possible to be responsible or ready. They must face the full force of the law.”

Yamini said Friday’s attacks show how the protesters became “homogeneous”.
“Since October 7, the Victoria Police-under the supervision of the government-allowed the anti-Israel demonstrators to hold a hostage,” he said.

Gideon Sar, the Israeli Foreign Minister, also condemned the power of the attacks, saying that there are “many anti -Semitic attacks in Australia”, and called on the Australian government to “do more to fight this toxic disease.”
