At least two people were shot, including a police officer in New York City, on Monday in a building in the city center that includes some higher financial companies in the country and National Football League, A person familiar with the matter told Associated Press.

The person, who was not immediately known for the circumstances of the victims, was not allowed to publicly discuss the ongoing investigation and spoke to AP, provided that his identity was not disclosed.
