Local officials said at least four people were killed and 20 wounded in many Russian missile attacks and drones overnight in the Ukrainian capital, local officials said.
The mayor of Kyiv Vitaly Klitschko said on Friday morning that search and rescue operations are continuing in several locations. Between the wounded, 16 were accepted to the hospital.
The Ukrainian authorities said that the Russian forces fired 407 drones and 45 missiles, including the flight and ballistic missiles, which succeeded in destroying, respectively, about 200 and 30.

“Our air defense crews are doing our best. But we must protect each other – we remain safe,” Takashinko wrote on Telegram.
The head of human rights in Ukraine called on DMYTRO LUBINTS to a strong international response to the attack overnight, saying that the attack violates the basic human rights.
“Russia behaves as a terrorist, and systematically targets civil infrastructure,” Lebenits wrote on Telegram. “The world must respond clearly and take concrete steps, including condemning the behavior of the aggressor.”
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrei Sibi also called on Western allies to increase pressure on Russia. “Russia’s attack is overnight that international pressure on Moscow should be increased as soon as possible,” he said in a statement.
Moscow has denied targeting civilians since it was widely invaded to Ukraine in February 2022.
The authorities reported damage in many areas, and rescue workers were responding to multiple locations. They urged residents to search for shelter.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine said that three emergency workers were killed in Kiev while responding to the effects of Russian attacks. “They were working under fire to help people,” the ministry said in a statement.
In the Solomieski area, a fire broke out on the eleventh floor of a 16 -storey residential building. Emergency services forced three people from the apartment, and the rescue operations were ongoing. Another fire broke out in a metal warehouse.
Takachenko said that the metro tracks between two stations in Kiev had been affected by the attack, but no injuries occurred.
At least six regions across Ukraine, leaving a trail of civilian injuries, damaged infrastructure and broken facilities.
Regional ruler Veshlav Nihada said the number of people who were injured in a Russian attack on the western city of Turnopille early in 10, including five emergency workers. The strike has damaged industrial and infrastructure facilities, and the left parts of the city without electricity, and the abolition of water supplies.
Regional President Voludmir Coot said that three people were injured in the central area of Boltava in Ukraine after a Russian attack that affected administrative buildings, warehouses and a cafe. The fires caused by the strike were extinguished, and the debris fell on a private house.
The regional ruler, Sirhi Tirin, said that the Russian forces also struck the Khamilitsky area overnight, which led to the destruction of a private residential building, external buildings, a fence, and many vehicles.
Meanwhile, the Air Defense Forces dropped three Russian missiles on the West Fif area overnight.
In the northern region of Chernkif, a Shahid drone exploded near a residential building, the windows and doors crashed, according to the head of the regional military administration, Dmytro Bryzhynskyi. He said that the explosions of ballistic missiles were also recorded on the outskirts of the city.
The attack took place overnight as hopes for the armistice between Russia and Ukraine, which seems to stumble, despite two rounds of direct talks in Istanbul.
