At least 19 was killed in a stampede at the food distribution site in Gaza

At least 20 Palestinians were killed on Wednesday at the aid distribution site run by the Gaza Humanitarian Corporation (GHF), while the US -backed group said it is rising from the crowds that armed instigators incite.

Israel, supported by Israel, said that 19 people had been ignored and stabbed another killer while crushing it in one of its positions in Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.

“We have a reliable reason for the belief that the elements inside the crowd – armed and produced to Hamas – have deliberately raised the turmoil,” GHF said in a statement.

There was no immediate comment from Hamas.

Palestinian Heath officials told Reuters that 21 people died of suffocation on the site. One of the doctors said that many people were crammed into a small space and were crushed.

On Tuesday, the United Nations Rights Office in Geneva said it had recorded at least 875 killings during the past six weeks in the vicinity of relief sites and food convoys in Gaza, most of which are near GHF distribution points.

Most of these deaths were the result of the fire of the weapons in which the locals blamed the Israeli army. The army acknowledged that Palestinian civilians were harmed near aid distribution centers, saying that the Israeli forces had issued new instructions after what was called “the lessons learned”.

The United Nations described the GHF model “not safely believed” and violated the standards of human neutrality.

Amjad Al -Shawa, the director of the Palestinian NGO Network, accused GHF on Wednesday of the serious mismanagement, saying that its lack of the control of the crowd and the lack of support of humanitarian principles has led to chaos and death among desperate civilians.

He told Reuters: “People who flow with their thousands are hungry and exhausted, and they are pressured in narrow places, amid a lack of aid and the absence of organization and discipline by GHF.”

The war in Gaza, which caused October 2023 in the deadly Hamas attack on Israel, destroyed large areas of the coastal pocket, struck almost all lands of land and caused hunger and widespread deprivation.

Earlier on Wednesday, the Israeli army said it had completed a new road in southern Gaza separating several towns in eastern Khan Yunis from the rest of the lands in an attempt to disrupt Hamas operations.

The Palestinians see that the road is under the control of the Israeli army as a way to put pressure on Hamas in the ongoing ceasefire talks, which started on July 6 and is in the middle of the Arab mediators Egypt and Qatar with the support of the United States.

Palestinian sources close to the negotiations said that a breakthrough has not yet been reached in any of the main issues under discussion.

Hamas said that Israel wanted to keep at least 40 percent of the Gaza Strip under its control as part of any deal, which the group rejected. Hamas also called for the dismantling of GHF and the re -delivery mechanism.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says that the war will end as soon as Hamas is disarmed and removed from Gaza.

The local health authorities in Gaza said that the Israeli military strikes killed at least 17 people through the pocket on Wednesday.

The Israel campaign in Gaza has killed more than 58,000 Palestinians, according to the health authorities in Gaza.

Nearly 1650 Israelis and foreign citizens were killed as a result of the conflict, including 1,200 killed in the October 7, 2023 attack, which Hamas started, considered a terrorist organization by the United States, Canada and several other countries.
