Nearly three months after the crash of India, there is no speech in the report of a government committee formed under the Minister of Interior to examine the reasons that led to the crash of AI171 from Ahmed Abad to London.

According to the sources, the committee met once on June 16 in Delhi, headed by the Minister of the Interior, and there is no update on any other meetings.

The committee was formed by the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MCA) on June 14, two days after the crash of India, which left 241 people with only one survivor. She had to submit her report within three months of the accident.

The initial report of the AAIB Aircraft Investigation Office (AAIB) was established on July 12, ripples with aviation experts and the bodies of pilots who are calling for the issuance of the text of the Black Box. The final report is expected within a year according to international standards.

The committee included senior officials from other agencies and the goal was to ensure the fundamental cause of crash. Its scope included assessing contributing factors, including mechanical failure, human error, weather conditions, organizational compliance, and other issues.

During the first meeting on June 16, the committee’s deliberations focused on identifying areas of improvement and establishing a road map to formulate standard operating procedures (SOPS) to prevent such disasters. He also discussed dealing with flight accidents and previous investigations – the Mangaluru accident in 2010 and the Kozhikode accident in 2020.

Aviation experts say that the committee lacks the subject experts as it is an exercise in uselessness, similar to the initial report, which left more questions that were not answered.

“The Federation’s Interior Minister makes SOP to prevent accidents is very worrying. They are not two subject experts. Without specifying the root cause of the accident (which will be found when AAIB offers the final report), how can any SOP be made?” Amit Singh, an expert on aviation safety and founder of the Safety Corporation, said matters.

Information sent to MOCA is not answered about the status of the committee’s report.

AAIB checks the technical aspects of India’s destruction. The government committee, which is scheduled to follow a more comprehensive approach, will also consider the strengthening of the ecosystem for aviation safety, according to the Ministry of Aviation.

The committee was granted a mandate to visit the crash site, access to the cockpit audio recordings, airlines, aircraft maintenance records, ATC certificates and witnesses.
