ARTETA claims that nine teams can win the Premier League title next season

Mikel Arteta believes that the title race in the Premier League next season will be one of the most competitive competition, as it reaches nine clubs capable of claiming the cup.

Despite the fierce competition, Arsenal manager is sure that his team has the “correct ingredients” to go along the way.

Arsenal ended the second place in the league over the past three seasons, but it was active in the transportation market in an attempt to finish first.

More additions are expected, with Arsenal currently in advanced conversations to sign VikTor Gyokeres from Sporting CP and Mosquera from Valencia.

Speaking from Singapore before the Arsenal opening match against AC MILAN, Arteta admitted the increasing quality in the Premier League: “Every year, we must see how things develop but I see the right balance in terms of maturity, experience, youth and hunger and all these components are present.

“There are six other clubs, seven and eight clubs in the league that have the appropriate components to win, and there will be only one winner. So we have to focus a lot on the things we can control, which we can do, to achieve what we want at the end of the season.”

When asked if he believed that Arsenal can finally take this last step and become heroes, ARTETA replied: “Yes, I do it. It becomes more and more competitive every year. The level is increasing. We know that so we must increase our demands as well.

“But we were also very active in the market. We have to improve the players we have already and it is a tremendous goal after that.
