Arsenal Gabriel defender signs a new deal

Arsenal Gabriel defender signed a new long -term contract to stay in the club.

The 27 -year -old is still running in his current deal, but he will now stay in the Emirates for a long time.

He said: “Arsenal is a great club and I am very proud to sign a new contract.

“I love this club, I love supporters, my teammates, I love this stadium. I am very proud and thank you for all support. We continue together in the future.

“I hope to win some awards with this club, because I love this club and my family also loves the club.

“I got here as a young player and nearly five years old, I am very happy and I learned a lot. I am very proud of myself, it’s a great journey, and I am very happy to continue it.”

Gabriel recorded five times last season before ending a knee strings in August.

Arsenal announced earlier this week that the midfielder Georgginso and defender Kiran Turney will leave the club when their deals end at the end of the month.

Midfielder Thomas Parti is also scheduled to end, but talks on the extension are continuing.
