It can be frustrating to scroll through the Recent Calls tab to find the right call on your iPhone. But still iOS 18 hack, you can find this call faster in your recent call history.

Apple released iOS 18 in September, and the update included a lot of new features, like a customizable home screen and RCS messaging. It also introduced a search bar in your iPhone’s Phone app that lets you easily search your call history and voicemails. Before iOS 18, the Recent Calls tab in the Phone app was a running list of all the calls made to and from your iPhone. But now you can easily search the list, so you don’t need to scroll through it unnecessarily.

Can I search for recent calls on my iPhone?

With iOS 18, yes. To find your recent calls, go to the Phone app, then tap The last across the bottom of the list. Click on the search bar at the top of the page to open a new menu displaying the sections Calls and Voicemail messages. Both options also have a choice See all.

You can use the search bar to search for a specific contact’s name, contact number, or dates. For example, typing “mom” or “dad” will display all phone calls and voicemails from your mom or dad, as well as their calling card. Likewise, typing “August” or “July” into the search bar will bring up all calls and voicemails from that month.

You can also type a specific date, such as “July 5,” which will pull calls and voicemails from that specific date.
