Apple has warned the victims of possible spyware attacks, according to many alleged beneficiaries of the messages. At the time of writing this report, it seems that at least two people confirmed that they were notified by Apple, and that the warning itself says that users in 100 countries have received similar alerts. The company does not provide any details about the number of people who may be targeted, or where the attacks come from

As mentioned before One of the beneficiaries of the warning message is the Italian journalist Ciro Pellegrino, who works for the online news port called In his original country. The other (as much as we know it now) is the right -wing Dutch commentator Eva Fladingbruck, who has published screenshots and video From the alleged warning message on X.

According to Vlaardingerbroek, Apple informed her that she had discovered a targeted attack on her iPhone’s mercenary spyware. “It is likely that this attack will target you specifically because of whom you are and what you are doing. Although it is never possible to achieve absolute certainty when you discover such attacks, Apple has great confidence in this warning – please take it seriously,” said the letter she said.

The warning does not say where the alleged spyware attack arose, but Vlaardingerbroek claims that Apple used the Israeli NSO Group program as an example. And if the attack, if it is real, is likely to scare it and silence it.

Apple The threat notifications with screenshots match Vlaardingerbroek video, as it also shows that “mercenary spyware attacks cost millions of dollars and often have a short period of validity, which makes them more difficult to discover them. The same instructions stipulate that the targeted users will be notified to alert at the top of the page when logging in to their Apple account, as well as via e -mail and IMessage using email addresses and phone numbers associated with this account.

Apple warnings have been sent in Apple devices in 92 warnings of spying tools of a similar nature, and since 2021, individuals have been contacted in more than 150 countries. But Apple has not provided more details about the number of people targeting such attacks, only the number of countries that the affected users have contacted.
