What is changing?

Individual users who use Claude Free, Pro, maximum or code will be affected by one of the above -mentioned plans when this change comes into effect in late September. With the option enabling, artificial intelligence will only be trained in new and standard chat sessions and coding. The old chats that have not been reviewed – at least will not be affected at least, at the present time.

Data retaining changes

Users who choose to train the artificial intelligence model will also have their data for a long longer period than the 30 -day previous window. Users who have been chosen will have 5 -year -old data, such as a modernization training policy, will only apply to new or resuming chats.

Anthropor says that retaining extended data will allow the company to determine the misuse and discover of harmful patterns of use.

How to update your privacy settings in Claude
