Australian officials have promised that he would face OPTUS, “severe consequences” for the interruption of systems related to multiple deaths.

At a press conference on Friday afternoon, Stephen Roy, President of OPTUS, blamed a technical mistake that was identified during the network upgrade.
He said that the social welfare examinations conducted after restoring the services confirmed that three people, including a baby, have died, although the police have since said that the network’s failure “is unlikely” to be the cause of this case. The Washington authorities also say they believe that a fourth person died after their call to Triple has failed.
In a series of updates during the weekend, Mr. Roy said that the company was not aware of the accident for 13 hours. He said that many customers tried to advise the company whose network was not working, but the complaints were not escalated or processed “as expected.”
“I would like to repeat how regret me from the sad loss of the lives of four people who were unable to reach emergency services at the time of their need,” said Mr. Roy on Sunday.
“I can assure you that the actions and will be taken to ensure that this does not happen in the future.”
In a statement, an ACMA spokesman said the organizer was “very concerned” with the situation and its treatment.
“The Australians should be able to contact emergency services whenever they need help. This is the basic responsibility that each provider of Telco is borne for the public.”

She said that the company “has worked as a tremendous failure on the Australian people” and will face “severe consequences.”
Investigations are still ongoing, but Mr. Roy said he intends to provide public updates daily “with more information.”
