There was a frightening moment in National Football League for women Friday night game after a player was transferred to the hospital after an accident in the field.
Angel city Defender Savy King suffered from a “medical event” during the team’s match against Utah Royals.
King fell in the 74th minute and attended it for 10 minutes before moving from the field in a vehicle, leaving other players clearly shook.

“Savy was transferred by EMS to the hospital after a medical event in this field. It responds and is subject to more evaluation. We thank everyone for their concern and support,” Angel City said in a statement.
Alex Lubira, from the royal family, was asked to lead both teams in prayer, “Of course I will do that.”
Alex Luera: “Safi King is clearly one of my truly close friends … Those moments are always very frightening – we all send our thoughts and prayers to the King’s family.”
Jimmy Quinetz, Utah coach, admitted that he was not happy to continue the match, which led to 2-0 victory over Los Angeles
“I am not sure that we should continue in the game … it was a really difficult moment,” the coach said, adding that many people were “afraid.”

King, 20, was the second total choice in the NWSL draft of 2024 through Bay FC expansion and played 18 clubs for the club. It was circulated to Angel City in February and started in all the eight teams of the team this season.
