Amazon’s Starlink Alternative coming to Australia next summer

Amazon’s Kuiper recently gets a launch date. Today, Amazon An agreement announced With the state -owned state -owned (NBN Co), to provide satellite internet service to 300,000 qualified customers in Australia’s countryside in the mid -2026.

This is the first time that Amazon set a fixed launch date at Kuper Internet service. On a page updated on June 5Amazon said she plans to start providing customer service “in late 2025”. The company did not mention where Project Kuper will be available or service cost.

Amazon did not immediately respond to CNET’s request for comment.
