Alvotech expands Biosimilars capabilities with IVERS-LE

Alvotech, a global biotechnology company, has announced the acquisition of the IVERS-EE group, a provider of assembly and packing services in Switzerland for the pharmaceutical sector.

This strategic step is set to enhance Alvotech’s ability to collect and fill vital medications.

Founded in 1947 in Burgdorf, Switzerland, IVERS-LE created itself as a high-quality packaging services.

Through a good manufacturing site licensed from practices, food and medicine in Burgdorf and a strategic business unit in Lararch, Germany, Iver-LE capabilities will be integrated into the technical operations department in Alvotech.

This integration will include the collection and packaging of automatic seizures, pre -filled inheritors, safety devices, and bottles.

The administrative director of Iver-LE Peter Schüpbach will continue in his role while also joining the technical driving team for technical operations in Alvotech.
