Former Gabonese President Ali Bongo Ondimba and his family left Gabon and transferred to Angola after they were released from the reservation. It follows a series of events caused by the military coup in August 2023, which ended the 56 -year -old Bongo family base. Bongo, along with this wife and son, was arrested, accused of embezzlement of public funds.
