Alex Scott wants to “repeat” 2023 winning Lyons before Saddam, Spain

The U21 midfielder Alex Scott urged his colleagues to “repeat what the boys did two years ago” before the eight round of the U21 eight round with Spain on Saturday.

“We are disappointed by the result,” Scott told Channel 4 after the match. “We did not start well enough, and this was eventually caused.

“Fortunately, we have qualified in the second, so this is positive and we will search for the quarter -finals now.”

In response to a question about how important his goal is to show a 21 -year -old Bournemouth player: “Yes (was) is huge. I think the second half has completely changed.

“We changed the shape and released Mecca (James Makati) as 10. We have definitely improved, which is something we can now build in the quarter -finals.”
