A video posted by Kaulig Racing shows a great moment, but it is a love between Alex Bowman and Ty Dillon after a clash in the hot appearance in Sonoma.
The clip has been shared by X by Kaulig Racing, a team directly involved in the accident, since Delon faced the challenge under their slogan. They commented on it,
“100 % good and good fun! Shura handshake though … it is difficult to watch. 😂”,
In the video, Ty Dillon was seen walking to Bowman after the race. The two speak a little, with a light tone clearly before the performance, what Colig joked as “brutal handshake.” The handshake with the two drivers has finished two grip each other.
This interaction came after the last lap of the Sonoma Raceway, which is part of the NASCAR challenge in the season. Tae Delon faced the Kolij Racing Racing as the 32nd of the championship, against Alex Bowman, rated No. 8 and Hendrick Motorsports driver.
Delon needed to win to stay in the bow – and got it. When the two drivers reached the final hairpin in the last roll, Delon Bowman gave a stumbling block, and pushed him widely. They contacted again in the corner exit, and Delon passed in time to cross the line forward.
With this step, Tae Delon Alex Bowman took out the championship and advanced to the semi -finals. Final Four now includes Dillon, John Hunter Nemechek, Tyler Reddick and Ty Gibbs.
It followed a friendly moment after the race Alex Bowman and Buba Wallace after the Chicago race
Just one week before Sonoma, Bowman participated in another accident on the path, this time with Boba Wallace in the Chicago Street race. Despite the connection that expels Wallace outside the tournament, both drivers were seen later smiling together in the ring, and no tension appeared.
During this race, the two were fighting seventh when Alex Bowman, on new tires, contacted Wallace out of the second round. Toyota No. 23 in Wallace was sent to the wall, maintained severe damage, and ended his race in 28th.
Bowman ended the eighth and progress, while Wallace was eliminated. After the race, Bowman spoke to the media about what happened. Through motorsport, he said:
“I did not really expect it when I passed (Wallace) and entered (in turn) 12 and he has just shipped me, then he ran me to the fence in (in turn) 1, and we ran in the fence from (in turn) 2 … We go straight and reached our connection together and ended it.”
Despite the collision, there was no clear hostility. As Stephen Taranto mentioned on X:
“All smiles for Alex Bowman and Buba Wallace after they escaped in Chicago last week.”
Bowman is currently racing full -time with Hendrick Motorsports, where he tried No. 48 Chevrolet Camaro. Since joining the team in 2018, he kept a clean leadership reputation. It is currently ranked 12th in the drivers ranking with 498 points in 20 races.
