Air India has been replaced by a flying fuel switch twice in six years; FAA, Boeing says he is safe

Air India has been replaced by the Boeing 787-8 control unit (TCM), which has been shattered twice in the past six years, after a directive from Boeing issued in 2019.

Meanwhile, the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Boeing released special notifications confirming that the fuel key on Boeing aircraft is safe, according to a document that Reuters saw and four sources familiar with the matter. The ongoing notification of air guarantee in the Federal Aviation Administration, on July 11, stated that although the design of the fuel control key, including the lock feature, is similar in various Boeing models, FAA is not considered an inappropriate condition that requires a guarantee of air guarantee of any Boeing aircraft, including 787.

When he asked to comment, the Federal Aviation Administration said he had nothing else to add it beyond the notification. Boeing also referred to FAA’s notification in a multi -operating Misag that is sent to airlines recently, noting that the company does not recommend any procedure, according to exporters who have a direct knowledge.

The initial investigation by AAIB referred to the FAA 2018 consulting, but it did not disclose the searches of the fuel -cutting key feature in many Boeing models, including 787, to prevent cross -movement. The report indicated that Air India did not perform the proposed inspections because the consultation was not mandatory.
