Photoshop is officially a team project. Adobe announced the creation of… Live co-editing in Photoshopallowing multiple individuals to work simultaneously on the same file from different computers. If you’re tired of waiting for a document, this is probably great news, but if you’re keen on only sharing the final product, you may not want to alert your boss.

Adobe suggests a large number of uses for live co-editing in Photoshopsuch as collaborating with other designers, allowing clients to edit and comment on a document directly or have students follow a teacher’s lesson. To be fair, my design skills might be better if I had this option during my college Photoshop class.

The feature hasn’t been fully finalized, with live co-editing only available in beta testing at the moment — though the company is offering a similar feature in Adobe Express. You can sign up to be part of the beta testing group here If you want to test it yourself. You can also take a look at competitors like Canvaswhich already offers real-time collaboration.
