ADany Defeense & Aerospace has confirmed its participation in the ADVAT AIRCRAFT medium program (AMCA) of the Ministry of Defense, which is the Ghost Fifth Fifth Fighter Project in India.

Ashish Rajfanchi, CEO of Adani Defeense & Aerospace, said the program is currently in the stage of expressing interest (EOI), with responses due by September 30.

“Currently, the program is in the EOI stage, and we all have to provide our responses by September 30. We will definitely put our response to the AMCA program,” Rajvanchi said.

He added that AMCA is imagined as a 10-year development program, as it is expected to enter the first fighter plane in the Indian Air Force inventory by 2034-1035. “If we succeed, we enter into serial production later,” he said.

The AMCA project, led by the ADA within the framework of the DRDO Research and Defense Organization (DRDO), is the most ambitious aircraft development program in India so far. It is designed as a five -generation multi -generation fighter, which is able to excel atmosphere, ground blow, and electronic warfare missions.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh recently agreed to the AMCA implementation model, which for the first time opens the participation of the public and private sectors. The government expected expenses of about 15,000 rupees for the development stage, with the Ada industry federations inviting to play a leading role in developing the initial model, testing it and issuing certificates.
