The Australian Communications and Information Authority (ACMA) submitted a request to more illegal gambling sites online, after investigations showed that it violates the 2001 interactive gambling law.
Organizer Australian Internet service providers (ISPS) request to block the following sites:
- Hole
- Betzillo
- Fastspin99
- Spinit
- Pokiespro
ACMA states that since its first ban in November 2019, 1322 illegal bets have been closed and its subsidiaries. It is a constant problem, where certain sites are blocked, another appears, but this enforcement tool is effective.
Last month, the Authority submitted a similar request to a number of sites that are banned, Including a prominent prediction platform, polymarkket.
ACMA also separates that, given that the new illegal gambling rules online have been adopted eight years ago, about 200 platforms have been withdrawn from the Australian market.

ACMA issues warnings of the use of illegal platforms
The government agency continued to remind consumers to maintain vigilance against Rogue Online, to ensure that they use good reputable sources, and if not so, they will not have any protection from customers to decline.
Australians have been aware that they may lose their money using these areas, with other risks including: illegal operators who take money deposits and then prevent users from reaching gains, and operators suddenly move the platforms and take all the money with them, and the possibility of unique operators who try to take money from bank accounts for users without permission.
ACMA provided a link to its record of users to verify whether the web site is licensed to work in Australia.
