Xabi Alonso is a confident striker that Kylian Mbappe will be closer to his best when Real Madrid face Borussia Dortmund at the club’s World Cup on Saturday.
MBAPPE returned from acute gastritis and intestine in his 1-0 victory over Juventus, in the 68th minute to replace the top scorer Gonzalo Garcia.
It seemed rusty understanding, but Alonso believes that the captain of France would be more clear against the Bundesliga team at the weekend.
“He is improving day by day. From now and on Saturday he will be better. We will continue to monitor him. I talk to him every day and he will be better for a quarter,” the Madrid coach said.

We are competing for big things – Alonso
Madrid was not at its best sparkling against Juventus, but it ran out of the deserved winners.
“We have to do a lot with a little. We were together for a short period only while we were competing for big things. We had to control things and that the players understood this well. We got more and more in half of the opposition, and we must have patience. Unfortunately, we failed to find the second goal that would have gave us the margin, but this is stimuli, and we bear.
“Defense hardness and discipline is essential and something we tried to transfer from the beginning. The boys are keen and ready and this is necessary. They are keen to absorb what the people who came from Germany ask them.”
Alonso descends Fide Fede
Captain Madrid Federico Valverde was named a man in the match after another wonderful offer and Alonso is a big fan of Uruguay midfielder.
“It makes my life much easier because he is a better player and a full player.”
“He does everything well, and he advances in the field and is one of the best with the ball and without it. I am happy to be with many of them and with FEDE as well.”
