We host the Portuguese Portuguese Portuguese politician Theresa Enginho, who says she aims to make her office “the reference point of integrity issues”. The office itself is called the Secretary of Grievances in the European Union, although it is now leading two women. It was established in the early nineties as an independent institution that fulfills complaints related to poor management by institutions and bodies in the European Union. We discuss the priorities of its mandate for five years, which started in February, and the issues of transparency surrounding scandals such as “Pfizergate”, “QATARGATE” and “Huaweateg”.
