Mercyside police launched an investigation after Evola Dukor of Everton received racist abuse of social media after the Mercyside derby against Liverpool.
Everton and Liverpool issued a joint statement condemning the abuse that appeared on Instagram in the wake of a 2-2 draw on Wednesday in the final Derby of Joneson Park.
Curtis Jones and Liverpool were expelled to ignore him after the REDS midfielder was excluded in his opponent’s celebrations against visiting fans after the James Tarkowsi equalizer in the 98th minute.
The racist abuse appeared in the Comments section in the Dukur Publishing on the social media platform that celebrates the result.
“Such abuse is something that does not deserve denunciation and will not be tolerance, and it should not be tolerated with it,” read the statement from Everton and Liverpool.
“The two clubs will work together with the Mercyside police, which is being investigated with the aim of identifying responsible individuals.
“We all, including social media companies, must take a zero position.
“Racism and hatred have no place online, in our stadium or in our societies.”
Mercyside police have resumed any information that might determine the officials.
“We are investigating this and taking these reports about the crime of hatred seriously,” said the head of the supervisors Claire Doyle.
“If you have any information regarding the relationship, please tell us that it can help in our ongoing inquiries.
“We have succeeded in trying the so -called fans because of racist offense and they were handed over to football who prohibit orders alongside a criminal record of their behavior.
“The Mercyside police will not tolerate the crime of hatred in any way and work to identify and identify anyone who has found anyone responsible for committing it.”
