Henry and Rasali led him the magic of life with explorers in Antarctica, such as Ernest Shatkelton, Rold Amonden and Robert Scott, to restore their campaigns in one of the most unaware places on earth. In 2015, Worsley started again to simulate his hero, Shackleton, by starting the first single crossing of the continent. Anthony Mason talks with David Gran, the author of the new book “The White Darkness”, and with Worsley’s wife, Joanna, about her fateful journey.
