The film revolves around two boys, Will Halloway and Jim Nightshade, who live in the small town of Greentown. Every one of the locals has a deep desire, from the greedy cigar shop owner to the barber, the bartender, and even the boys’ teacher. When an evil carnival run by the mysterious Mr. Dark comes to Green Town, the boys sneak inside and witness the evil that befalls their little haven. This makes them targets for Mr. Dark and his minions.
