A new task for NATO to support the eastern wing after Russia’s incursion is the drones

More NATO countries will move their forces and fighting aircraft east in response to unprecedented Russian drones on Wednesday to the Polish airspace.

Denmark, France and Germany joined a new mission to strengthen the eastern side of the military alliance. The other NATO allies are expected to participate later.

This came, as the Kremlin said on Friday that peace talks with Kiev were “stopping”, as Dmitry Peskov spokesman said: “You cannot wear glasses of roses and expect the negotiation process to give immediate results.”

Political tensions were high across Europe after Poland said 19 Russian aircraft aircraft that had been overwhelmed by airspace on Wednesday. Some were dropped, while others were crashed into the fields and even a house in eastern Poland.

The Russian army said that it “has no plans to target facilities” in Poland – but Polish and European leaders believe that the incursion was deliberate.

According to the Danish Ministry of Defense, Denmark will contribute to two F-16 combat aircraft to support the Air Defense of Poland and warships.

“Denmark supports Poland entirely in this position,” said Prime Minister Metty Friedrixen. “We must not be naive. Putin will not stop at anything, and he tests us. Therefore, it is important … Denmark contributes to this.”

France will contribute three combat aircraft in Rafale, and Germany will offer four European times.

The Ministry of Defense said in a statement that it was “fully committed” to help strengthen the eastern guard.

On Friday, European countries – and the United States – Poland stood during an urgent council session in New York, discussing the incursion of drones in Russia.

“The United States stands alongside our NATO allies in the face of disturbing airspace,” said the US ambassador at Dorothy Xia. “We are reassuring, we will defend every inch of NATO.

She added that since Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin set up a summit in Alaska almost a month ago to discuss peace, “Russia has intensified its campaign to bomb against Ukraine.”

During the risk of United Nations on Friday, Poland Marsen Bosaki Foreign Minister delivered pictures of a drone and damaged home.

“We know – and I repeat – we know that it was not a mistake,” he said.

The Netherlands and the Czech Republic have already said they will send defenses to Poland, while Lithuania will receive a German brigade and warn more Russian attacks on Ukraine could cross.

Germany also said it “will increase its participation along the eastern border of NATO” and extend and expand the air police over Poland.
