An intense heat wave still brings high temperatures to large parts of Europe, where authorities in many countries export health warnings.

A new thermal record was appointed in June 46C on Saturday in the Spanish town of El Granado, according to national weather service in the country.

Residents and tourists share their advice on how to deal with hot weather.

Red heat warnings are valid in parts of Portugal, Italy and Croatia, with many amber warnings covering the regions of Spain, France, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Hungary, Serbia, Slovenia and Switzerland.
