After arriving at the scene, Dowling said crews discovered it wasn’t a ceiling collapse, but rather a display of Lego toys, which were 12 feet high, had collapsed on a group of people during a botched New Year’s Eve balloon drop.

The balloons were supposed to be released from the screen during the party, and apparently someone pulled them too forcefully onto the screen, causing them to fall, Dowling said.
