WWE may look forward to hiring new stars. The company has published an official announcement recently.
World Wrestling Entertainment launched its ID program last year, which provided wrestlers and independent schools some benefits, such as opportunities with Stamford promotion system. The wrestlers who signed a definition deal will be able to compete for development and training in partner schools. Upon launching this program, Entertainment Juggernaut also announced many Indie names as part of the program.
The official X’s official program recently posted a video clip showing current identity prospects such as Sean Legacy, Zayda Steel and ID Cappuccino Jones travel to Malaysia for wrestling to promote APAC wrestling. The video also stated that the scouts actively seek to obtain new horizons to join the program and approach one step from NXT and Smackdown and Raw.
“Scouts WWE ID actively is looking for new horizons to join the program. With the WWE identification contract, one step prospect is approaching a dream NXTSmackdown and RAW, as well as the largest stage of them all – Reesmania. Who asks the question – who will be the next? (H/T. Wrestletalk.com))
Tony Khan also commented on the WWE ID program
World Wresting Entertainment rocked the entire wrestling industry last year when they announced the identity program. Since then, many fans and critics have commented on how this program affects the industry.
Speaking on a media call before Full Gear 2024, Tony Khan said that he would reserve his judgment on this program until he tests him first.
“It will be interesting to see the first time we face a talent under one of those (WWE ID deals) that we come with. I am not completely sure how these deals work. I heard some things about the existence of rights that are identical to the people who have already signed them, which is interesting. (H/T Wrestletalk)
It will be interesting to know who will be signed on an identity deal after that.
