It was an easy decision to stay – BRANTHWAITE
“I was above the moon.” I am above the moon. It has been something we have been talking about since the end of the season and to sign it now is a really excited thing, “said Branteette, born in Carlis.
“The confidence that the club has put in me and the number of games that it played over the past two seasons has made it easy to stay and continue to progress as a player.
“I know the club. I feel like I am loved by the players – we have a good group here – and the fans. Over the past few years, I have seen the impact of the fans on us as a team and how much this means for them. It is clear, with the new stadium that we got here, the new property and the new manager, which is an exciting project, something I want to be part of.”
Everton retracted the troubles of relegation last season after Moyes returned instead of Sean Deshi, and with the club’s transfer to the new Hill Decinson Stadium for the next season, Branteoute is impatiently expected what the future is invented.
He added: “I have been in Everton for five and a half years until now and I saw the change that the club had had during the past six months.
“It is very exciting for us as one team, as a player, that this happens in the background and it is clear that it started the new season on the new stadium.
The ambition was a huge thing.
“The way the manager wants us to go as a team and what he wants us to do for the next season and where he wants us to have a great impact on the decision. I think you saw at the end of last season as a team we can do.
“The manager was really good, not only for me but for the group. I have seen the change in the results, and the change in the mood since it came. He leads the demands every day to be better.”
Moyes says Branthwaite will play a big role.
“We are happy that Jarad has committed his future for us. He is still only 23 years old, and we hope that he will be his best years in front of him,” said Moyes, who is half the same medium during his playing days.
“We believe that he can have a great role that he plays in a new exciting era in the club.”
