A French-Palestinian chef from Bethlehem spoke to FRANCE 24 about how his love for cooking helped him overcome current problems in the region. Fadi Kattan’s book “Bethlehem” is a love letter to his birthplace and is said to conjure up the colors and smells of Bethlehem’s market and spice shops. The book was selected as one of the cookbooks of the year by the Los Angeles Times. Kattan joins us on Perspective.
