On Saturday, the Criminal Court sentenced Chad on the success of Masara, the former Prime Minister in the country and the leader of the opposition, to 20 years in prison after being convicted of inciting hatred, revolution and collusion with death. The charges were followed by a deadly clash between the shepherds and farmers in May. Catherine Viet’s story.
